Schedule: Sat-Wed (First Shift)

Job Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician include, but are not limited to:
- Pre-Operation – Inspect facility and equipment before production starts, as assigned.
- Daily room temperature monitoring.
- GMP Inspection/Monitoring to ensure employee follows proper hygiene for production safety. (need to be able to read the GMP standards to ensure everyone is following the standards)
- Product/Production line inspection verifying quality and accurate packing of customer orders. (needs to be able to read the quality standards and customer orders to ensure the orders and quality are accurate)
- Ensuring product safety and quality meets company standards and customer specs. (again – needs to be able to read the customer specs and communicate with the rest of the team)
- Verify the cleaning schedule is followed and maintained to prevent any cross-contamination.
- Maintain and report hold/reject products. (read and write the report and be able to reject product cut)
- Continuously work with and/or assist production, maintenance, and sanitation personnel as needed throughout the shift. (communicate with all departments)
- Maintain accurate, complete, and legible paperwork. (read and write reports)
- Performs other duties and projects as required.
