Job Summary:
This position will report to the organization's Chief Compliance Officer. The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the daily review and evaluation of clinical documentation at our Kentucky and Ohio locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides or recommends additional resources, training, and tools to support clinical staff.
- Daily reviews of medical records and other documentation to ensure quality care.
- Co-sign on all clinical individual session notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- In coordination with the Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Quality Assurance, coordinates and facilitates quarterly QI meetings as well as preparation of reports for the Executive Leadership Team monthly.
- In coordination with the Director of Quality Assurance, assist with weekly chart audits and reports.
- Evaluates trends, variance, and other data to identify QI opportunities.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of contractual requirements and state and/or county contract requirements.
- Some travel is required for in-office audits. Kentucky and Ohio

Requirements:
- Master's degree required; behavioral health degree preferred.
Active Clinical Licensure; behavioral health licensure preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical environment.
- Knowledge of Medicaid documentation requirements.
- Experience with PCs and MS office applications. Familiarity with various systems and reporting mechanisms.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and schedules as needed by the organization.
