Responsibilities:
This position requires a flexible individual with experience in collecting and analyzing data to identify trends which may be impacting quality and work with Production and Quality Engineers to investigate root cause and possible corrections. This role interfaces with Management as well as Production and other Quality roles including Quality Engineers and Inspectors.
The role uses statistical process control methods and utilizes Root Cause Analysis tools such as 5 Why's, 8D, Ishikawa (fishbone) and others to determine defect trends, define root cause and support Quality and Production in deploying Corrective Actions.
Publishing First Pass Yield and various other quality data will be a requirement of this position as will supporting Quality activities such as Material Review Board, Return Material Authorizations and other functions both technical and administrative in nature.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate in Business, Math or a Technical Degree/Training. SPC training preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI DoD Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Strong analytical skills including a understanding of statistics.
- Prior experience in quality or data analysis for the detection of recurrences.
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel and Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate would have an AS Degree with 8-10 years' experience or a BS Degree with 3-5 years experience in statistical process controls, quality processes and have been involved with manufacturing of complex electronic Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA's) and electro-mechanical assemblies. Experience in complex RF manufacturing and military related hardware builds preferred.
- Must be self-directed, highly motivated and work with minimal supervision.
