We have an immediate need for a 1st shift (7:00am-5:15pm Monday-Thursday) direct hire QA manager in a fabrication environment. Qualified candidates will have a valid driver's license, clean criminal history and be able to pass pre-employment drug test and physical. This role will require directly managing a team of three individuals who work in the same office, overseeing the QC department which is headed up by the QC/NDE supervisor, interfacing with quality representatives from clients, being the point on all customer audits, problem solving and working on internal concerns daily, reviewing final documentation packages for accuracy, programmatic activities such as procedure generation and review, indoctrination and training, etc. This position is obviously a very high-end role that requires the top 1% of candidates. We really need someone who has excellent managerial, conflict resolution, problem solving and overall people skills as that is very much needed in this position. Compensation is TBD based on the caliber of candidates and the monetary needs in order to make a move. A college education is preferred but not mandatory. The ideal candidate would come from a similar manufacturing NQA-1 QA background but being that’s going to be a rarity, a good secondary option would be a quality representative from an ISO-9001 program. If qualified and interested, please reply to this job posting with a current detailed resume, including professional references for consideration. Additional information below:
