As a Software Health TechQA Lead, you will play a key role in testing and maintaining software used in the development of world-class medical devices that improve the lives of people globally.The team is looking for a QA Lead to build and support both the production and testing needed for regulatory approval.
- Providing software quality engineering support for engineering teams throughout the full product development lifecycle
- Ensuring software development activities meet the quality and regulatory requirements of FDA and ISO standards
- Writing and maintaining software documentation for medical devices
- Documenting software specifications in accordance with medical device development standards
- Reviewing new and modified software product designs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet the company's quality and regulatory goals
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of related software QA experience within the medical device industry.
- Experience developing and executing software quality testing support throughout the entire product lifecycle, including design, development, release, and maintenance.
- Proficient in developing test plans, designing and executing tests (manual and automated), including performance and stress testing for medical devices from scratch.
- Experience in creating, shipping and maintaining software design controls documentation for medical devices.
- Knowledge of medical device standards such as ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 and their application to software verification and validation.
- Experience debugging applications.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience partnering and/or collaborating across multiple disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience of working on medical software.
- Experience coding in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent language
- Previous experience working on Android/iOS/WearOS device software
