Monitors production processes of the facility to ensure all products meet company quality and food safety requirements during plant operations to ensure compliance with all company, regulatory, and Global Food Safety Initiative standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :: - Collecting, preparing and/or testing samples.
- Keeping an accurate and legible record of all testing completed.
- Recording, analyzing data and presenting results.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Ensuring sanitary conditions are always maintained in the laboratory area.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Eager willingness to learn.
- Flexibility required.
- Extended shifts may be required.
- Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
- Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
- Have a good attendance history – 2 points or less.
- Be willing to be cross-trained and learn all tasks in the department.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Know how to effectively manage time to complete all assigned tasks.
- Be able to communicate effectively with other hourly employees, plant management, and USDA personnel.

- May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
- May be exposed to chemicals used in the processing facility.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the position as directed by Case Farms.
- Able to freely move for the duration of shift.
- When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
