Essential Job Functions
- Process incoming raw materials, process intermediates and finished goods chemical attributes.
- Analyze using advanced techniques such as Chromatography (GC, HPLC) and Spectroscopy (FTIR).
- Backup support for microbiological lab.
- Responsible for PM and validation methods for instruments related to analytical chemistry.
- Read, record & report results.
- Write and review Out-of-Specification and Non-conformance reports.
- Create and revise Standard Laboratory Procedures (SOPs) for the Chemistry Lab.
- Miscellaneous duties: clean glassware, disinfect work surfaces, maintain lab cleanliness and organization, maintain lab inventory and order supplies.
- Follow cGMP (experience in an FDA regulated facility, preferred)
- Generate, review, and approve material results forms.
- Test water of USP Water System weekly.
- Assist QA department when requested.
Qualifications
- Assistant Laboratory Technician – High School Diploma or Associates Degree
(1-3 yrs relevant work experience, preferably in a production facility.)
- Associate Laboratory Technician – BS/BA in Chemistry or related field

- Applicants with 0 yrs of professional experience are required to submit a copy of their unofficial transcripts and a letter of recommendation from their academic advisor or chemistry professor.
- Communication Skills required (verbal and written)..
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Math Skills.
