CTR Group is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a Metal Fabrication Company in the Hampton, VA, area:
Pay Range: $25 - $30 per Hour plus Benefits.
SUMMARY:
For our client in custom steel fabrication, we are currently seeking a Quality Control Compliance Inspector to join our team. This position requires performance of audits up to and including pre-ship inspections to ensure effectiveness of the Company's quality program.
- Perform regular audits of internal processes across multiple departments.
- Perform receipt inspection of complex machined components.
- Perform pre-ship inspection of all projects.
- Maintain accurate and detail-oriented documentation of all activities.
- Provide reports on monthly or quarterly basis.
- Generate software packages for all outbound shipments.
- Work as a team player using tact and diplomacy while dealing with others.
- This is a scalable position depending on your years of experience and depth of qualifications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills while multi-tasking in a high-pressure position.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Computer skills for Microsoft Excel and ADOBE Acrobat.
- Ability to work OT and weekends as required.
