Qa Final Inspector

Performs Quality Assurance Inspections, which consists of quantity checks, verifying measurements by use of various certified measuring devices (tape measure, caliper, digital protractor and Sheet Metal Thickness Gage) during the packaging and shipping phases. The Q.A. Final Inspector is to ensure that all Monogram Nameplates are placed on the correct stave and filled out for applicable jobs. When product is ready to ship, the Q.A. Final Inspector must approve all shipments and that all Q.A. Photos have been taken.

Role and Responsibilities

· Inspect/Measure finished product (Size, Quantity & Color)

· Complete Q.A. Final Inspection Reports

· Report Nonconformances

· Ensure that QMS standards are met for Shipping/Final Inspection

· Coordinate shipping dates with the Shipping Coordinator

· Discuss inspection reports with Management

· Assist with the cleaning/picking up of the shipping area

· Assists that measuring devices are turned in for recertification

· Work with the Hardware team with Q.A.

· Job Sign Off with Shipping App and graphical records (Final Inspection Photo’s) are created.

· Other duties as assigned.

PPE Required

· Eye Protection (will be provided by company)

· Hearing Protection (will be provided by company)

· Steel toe boots

· All additional PPE requirements, depending on the area.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma

• Knowledgeable with devices, such as: Tablets, Smart Phones, Cameras and Windows PC.

• Must be able to stand for long periods on the job

• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather throughout the entire facility

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends

• Basic understanding on how to read shop drawings. technical documents and manuals, for product conformity.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
