`Position Overview: As a Quality Associate, your primary responsibilities will involve conducting first article and final inspections of CNC machined parts. The role requires a thorough understanding of inspection-related equipment, a strong grasp of ISO and AS9100 Standards, and the ability to ensure the quality and precision of manufactured components. This position operates on a regular schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
First Article Inspection:
- Perform detailed inspections on the first article produced from CNC machines to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools and equipment to verify critical dimensions and tolerances.
- Document and report any non-conformities or deviations from the required specifications.
Final Inspection:
- Conduct final inspections on completed CNC machined parts to ensure overall quality and adherence to standards.
- Employ inspection techniques to validate the accuracy of dimensions, surface finish, and other critical features.
- Record and maintain comprehensive inspection reports for each batch of finished products.
Equipment Usage:
- Utilize a variety of inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, and optical comparators, to perform accurate measurements.
- Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to guarantee accuracy in measurements.
Quality Standards:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of ISO and AS9100 Standards.
- Apply quality control processes to meet or exceed industry standards.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with CNC machine operators and production teams to address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
- Provide feedback to production teams to enhance the overall manufacturing process and prevent recurring quality concerns.
Documentation:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
- Generate and update inspection documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in CNC machining quality control.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of ISO and AS9100 Standards .
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Compensation: $22-27 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
