HD Media Systems has been a leading AV provider for over 15 years. We are a technology company that specializes in audio/video installation, home theater design, whole home automation, lighting control, security and surveillance, phone systems, and network/computer integration.

We are looking for a Purchasing/Inventory professional for our Cape Girardeau office who is dependable, personable and who embraces challenges that may come their way.

Responsibilities of the position

--Research & buy products & inventory

--Work directly with vendors via email or over the phone

--Inventory Management (shipping/receiving)

--General warehouse duties

--Process inventory returns and transfers between warehouse locations

--Communicate with Sales reps, project managers and accounting department daily

We are looking for the following traits

--Work independently with minimal guidance but not afraid to ask questions

--Strong verbal & written skills

--Good organizational skills

--Ability to learn software quickly

--Ability to work in a fast past environment

--Ability to lift and carry work-related materials that could weigh up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

--High School diploma

--College associate degree or more preferred

--Prefer at least 1-2 years in a warehouse environment

--Experience with Purchasing/Buying
