Purchasing Manager

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing, the Procurement Manager will collaborate in the development and execute the implementation of the sourcing strategy for the company, collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, sustain supplier performance through the implementation and advancement of the Supplier Relationship management framework, procure goods and services to support all functions of the business, and lead the materials planning process in close collaboration with production and logistics teams.

• Procures materials, supplies and services to support all functions of the business.
• Collaborate with category and spend analysis for the formulation of sourcing strategies.
• Execute action plans derived from sourcing strategy.
• Ensure compliance of procurement policies and procedures.
• Maximize efficiency and minimize cost of organization's supply chain following Total Cost of Ownership principles.
• Tracks and resolves purchasing related problems, errors, or discrepancies.
• Support Pete and Gerry’s quality Manager programs and initiatives.
• Execute Supplier Relationship Management framework establishing supplier performance. records and delivering effective collaborations.
• Negotiate on all aspects optimizing pricing, delivery, and terms.
• Sustain and improve contract spend coverage.
• Run sourcing events.
• Optimize working capital across the assigned categories.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of training, experience, and education
• 5 years’ related work experience
• Experience sourcing or procuring goods and services
• High competency level in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain systems, including MPS and ERP systems
• Understanding of effective purchasing policies and procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Analytical skills
• Well organized
• Solid communication and negotiation abilities
