About the Job:

As the Inventory Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and accurate management of inventory. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, optimizing material turnover, implementing inventory control procedures, and collaborating with various departments to meet operational needs. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to maintain a well-organized inventory system.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Monitor inventory levels and trends to ensure adequate stock for customer demands.

· Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize excess inventory, and reduce carrying costs.

· Collaborate with the purchasing department to forecast demand, place orders, and maintain appropriate reorder points for inventory items.

· Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.

· Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movement, conduct regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies.

· Lead regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits to maintain data accuracy and identify discrepancies.

· Analyze data to identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory items and recommend appropriate actions for disposal or markdowns.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales and operations to align inventory levels with business goals.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

· 1-2 years' experience in purchasing and inventory control is preferred.

• Strong time-management skills for multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical and critical thinker; capable of processing complicated information.
• Strong problem-solving and judgment skills for working with highly complex data.
• Basic computer skills.
• Cycle counting product experience.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, deadline-driven, continuous improvement behaviors.
