As Purchasing Manager, you would be responsible for all functions of the purchasing department. The Purchasing Manager ensures timely and cost-effective inventory replenishment, seeks strategic purchasing opportunities, continually trains and develops personnel and reviews monthly financial statements and makes appropriate changes.
You would work out of our Salt Lake City, UT corporate location. This is a full-time position with benefits.

- Driving inventory turns
- Forecasting expected demand
- Seeking strategic purchasing opportunities
- System setup and maintenance
- Teaching and developing employees
- Oversee implementation and timely completion of purchasing projects
Basic Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage people and resources
- Customer service skills
- Negotiating skills
- Advanced computer, database, and math skills.
Level of Education and Work Experience Preferred
- MBA with an emphasis on procurement
- Prior manager and procurement experience
- Knowledgeable concerning the hose industry and products
- SQL and database experience
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary and Profit Sharing: $78,000 - $148,000 + per year (base salary of $78,000 to $118,000 plus quarterly profit sharing)
- Schedule: 45 hours a week; Monday to Friday
