A day in the life of a Purchasing Coordinator can look like this:
- Purchase parts, equipment, supplies, and tools
- Updating price changes in operations software
- Provide follow-up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and provide anticipated delivery dates
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient in electronic forms, applications, and communications
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus
- Regular and Timely Attendance
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 4 hours) without a break
- Position requires bending, twisting, stooping, and climbing
- Must pass initial and random substance abuse tests
