We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Purchasing Clerk to join our team. The Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for ordering flooring materials, monitoring freight costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.
```Duties```
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders or deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in supply chain management practices
```Qualifications```
- Experience in purchasing preferred or administrative duties, willing to train the right individual
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or similar role
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Proficient in using QFloors or similar inventory management software
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
