Purchasing Agent

Finzer Roller seeks a Purchasing Agent to oversee the procurement of products for our multi-plant manufacturing business. We are growing and this is a new position! We offer $70,000 - $80,000 per year, medical, dental, vision, 401k + match, paid weekly. Specific responsibilities include:

• Manages the purchasing process to include buying and distribution. Ensures purchases meet Company criteria.
• Handles contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers.
• Identifies ideal suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Analyzes existing purchasing processes for performance and implements improvements.
• Works with upper management to develop purchasing strategies.
• Maintains supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
• Prepares costs estimates and manages budgets.
• Trains employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.
• Travels to manufacturing locations as needed.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree and 3+ years purchasing experience. CPP or CSCP strongly desired. Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management. Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software. Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills and professional written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
