About the Opportunity:
∙ Job Title: Punch (Trumpf) Operator
∙ Pay: $21/Hour
∙ Location: Bloomington, MN
∙ Schedule: 2nd Shift, Mon-Thurs 3:45PM-2:15AM with mandatory O/T-manager will advise a head of time
Daily functions:
- Operating the machine and its components in manual or automatic mode
- Setting the work piece clamps
- Zeroing the machine
- Aligning and preloading the tooling
- Checking the first production parts against the drawings to ensure accuracy.
- Understanding the operating sequence of the machine to determine if the machine is operating properly.
- Understanding the location and operation of the emergency stop and feed hold switches.
- Routine maintenance of the machine
Desired qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Blueprint reading/electrical schematic reading.
- Familiar with inspection processes and systems controls.
- Setup experience specific to department or equipment
- Programing experience preferred.
- Appropriate communication skills (Read, Write, Speak, Listen)
- Process and detail orientation. Ability to discuss, deploy and document best practices to ensure quality and productivity expectations are achieved or exceeded.
