Responsibilities of Role:
Typical progressive die and press operations, with setup and removing tooling. Observe press in operation while making adjustments to control rate of production. Consistently use micrometers, calipers, etc., to inspect parts ensuring conformance to specifications as well as continual quality inspections during production runs. May assist in training of other employees. Follow all prescribed safety regulations
What You’ll Do:
Operate metal stamping presses by manually feeding steel blanks on die for forming, placing part on die to trim and place part on die for piercing
Perform complex set ups with little supervision, will train
Communicate clearly and concisely to supervisor and production personnel
Monitor equipment/tooling during production stamping to ensure proper functioning
Keep area clean, including making minor repairs/maintenance upon completed work order
Maintain accurate count of parts
Accurately complete work order / router
Assist in setting up steel coil on larger presses
Working Conditions:
Exposure to high noise levels from operating machines
Ability to lift 30 pounds
Required to stand, walk, pull and bend to the floor
Ideal Candidate:
Mechanically Inclined
Must be at least 18 years old
Available First Shift
Schedule: Full time or Part Time, Monday--Friday 8am--4pm , paid breaks and lunch. No nights or weekends!!! No mandatory Overtime
Accrued vacation time starts after 2 months of employment for full time employees.
