Public Safety Officer/Security

Global Security is currently seeking Full-Time Public Safety Officers for a high-profile client site located in the Baltimore, MD. Successful candidates must have prior security experience and be comfortable working in an exterior post, which requires walking and mobile patrols. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and professionalism. The selected candidates will receive a competitive starting pay rate, with bi-weekly pay for armed officers starting from $21 to $25 per hour and $18 to $20 per hour with bi-weekly pay for unarmed officers. Schedules Open:

• Weekends, days, Evenings, and Overnights Full Time

• Monday - Sunday, 7 AM - 3 PM, 3 PM – 11 PM, or 11 PM - 7:30 AM

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 + years of Armed Security Officer experience

• 3 + years of unarmed security experience

• 1 + years of data entry experience

• 1 + years of customer service

Requirements:

• MD Guard Card

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must be a team player

• Flexibility to work all shifts

• High-level Public Safety Experience

Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of team success

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises and personnel
- Patrol assigned areas and monitor surveillance equipment
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, including medical emergencies, fires, and alarms
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access
- Conduct investigations and write detailed incident reports
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary

A security officer is responsible for performing various duties as specified by the post orders and standard operating procedures (SOP). It is imperative that the security officer reads and comprehends the post orders and SOP in detail to become extremely knowledgeable of the protocols. This enables them to act quickly and efficiently in accordance with the directives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
