Public Safety Administrative Specialist

The Township of East Brunswick is accepting applications for the full-time position of Administrative Specialist within the Department of Public Safety. The successful candidate will perform a variety of specialized clerical duties of moderate complexity that require the application of various standard procedures. Work is performed under general supervision. Responsibilities include all clerical duties of the Administrative Division, Records Bureau, Investigative Division, and Training Facility. This includes updating and maintaining reports; retrieving information for detectives and attorneys; issuing permits and firearm ID cards; generating audio recordings; compiling payroll and attendance records; & other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Strong communication skills; including data entry, database administration, & publication. Proficient in using computer software, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
