Job Responsibilities:

• Respond to telephone calls from members of the public with concerns and/or complaints about lawyers.
• Interpret information provided by members of the public and determine whether they can be assisted.
• Determine if a complaint is a grievance, fee dispute or other issue, and initiate the appropriate course of action. 
• Refer calls to outside sources, including other agencies, when appropriate.
• When possible, develop a prosed resolution concerning the complaint or concern directly with the attorney involved.
• Respond to other inquiries as appropriate.
• Enter information into the database.
• Assist with effective communication between a client and a lawyer.
• Provide helpful information about the resources and other relevant agencies.

Education, Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of a high school diploma, with prior experience in legal field
• Familiarity with legal terminology preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 
• Spanish oral and written communication skills helpful
• This position may be eligible for a hybrid schedule once training has been completed.
