Serve your community with a job in Public Health! Our mission is to improve the health of all Dent County residents. To further that mission, the Dent County Health Center is seeking a full-time Nurse. Public or community health experience preferred.
The grant supporting this position focuses primarily on COVID-19, influenza, and routine vaccines. The purpose of the grant is to reach out to underserved populations. Community outreach activities, such as off-site clinics, will be a required part of the job.
Job duties to include:
- Immunization administration and inventory management
- Laboratory specimen collection and simple analysis
- Assist with other Public Health services as the need arises, such as STD testing and treatment, COVID/Flu testing, etc
- Applicants must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and possess a current nursing license in the state of MO.
