Description:

Our team is looking to add an upbeat Part-TimeSolutions Consultant (Front Desk Agent) to manage all aspects of Front Desk operations and be a key person of reference for our guests and vendors. To be successful in this role, you will need to extend professionalism and courtesy, have outstanding communication skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • Conduct property tours following Fair Housing Guidelines and provide lodging solutions
  • Check-in/Check-out hotel guests
  • Process all payments according to established hotel requirements and follow financial control procedures
  • Provide information and assistance to all guests and vendors
  • Restock and clean the coffee bar according to operational standards
  • Prepares all necessary reports during each shift for the management team
  • Provide support to housekeeping and maintenance team

Job Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
  • Ability to work well in stressful situations
  • Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
  • Ability to run washers and dryers
  • Ability to separate, clean, and fold linens while identifying and discarding linen that no longer meets brand standards

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
