PT Peer Recovery Support - CDR Program

Position Description:
This a part-time (up to 29 hours/week) position under the direct supervision of the Comprehensive Dual Recovery Program Manager. The Peer Support Specialist functions as part of a Community-based Trans-disciplinary Team serving adults with substance use and mental health disorders. The general responsibility of the position is to provide peer support interventions helping clients achieve their personal recovery goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires High School Diploma, Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services field preferred. Experience providing services is preferred. Individual must also be in sustained recovery from a mental or emotional disorder and/or a substance use disorder and must complete a certified Peer Specialist Training Program with certification within 180 days of hire.
Access to an operational vehicle, automobile insurance ($100,000/$300,000 liability coverage) and a valid driver’s license is required. Must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle check and drug test.
