PSYCHOTHERAPIST (100% REMOTE, OHIO)

The Psychotherapist will report to the Behavioral Health Supervisor. This is an independent contractor position. This is a remote position (Must reside in Ohio, U.S.).

JOB OVERVIEW

Provides clinical mental health treatment to the adult population. Uses established protocols and professional judgment. Documents assessment, plans, interventions and results using standard computer software application.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Provides high quality, evidenced-based teletherapy to adult clients over a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.
• Conducts comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, utilizes root cause analysis, and performs clinical intervention through the development and execution of a treatment plan specific to each client.
• Engages in ongoing assessment of clients to recommend activities and behavioral routines to meet the social and mental health needs of clients.
• Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan and modifies plan as needed.
• Provides support and/or intervention and assists clients in understanding the implications and complexities of their current mental health needs and/or overall personal care.
• Work closely with assigned Behavioral Health Supervisor to coordinate clinical mental health treatment of assigned clients (Checks and responds to communication in a timely fashion).
• Completes, signs, and locks clinical case notes within 24 hours of session.
• Maintains personalized database to record proof of licensure, license updates, expiration dates, personal information, etc.
• Keeps availability calendar up to date.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and ethical regulations and contractual agreements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education/Experience: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitation, or other relevant field that provides a foundation to receive a license as required of the position.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current state’s LPC licensure required. Certified Clinical Trauma Professional certification preferred.
• Access to a reliable device capable of video conferencing and reliable internet connection.
• Interest in integrating cutting-edge technology into all aspects of your work.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.

Cornerstone Behavioral Health exclusively provides telehealth services to clients. Distance service provision provides safety and security during these turbulent times. Any face-to-face meeting among staff will be voluntary and CDC guidelines promoted.
