AMHC is announcing is search for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will support the delivery of psychiatric medication management and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services by assisting the agency Psychiatrist(s) in conducting medication clinics throughout the AMHC service system. The clinics will include the ability to offer psychiatric medication management and MAT services for adults and children experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders. The chosen candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Psychiatric and Mental Health Practitioner or Advanced Practice Nurse Psychiatric and Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist by the Maine State Board of Nursing or Family Nurse Practitioner with X-waiver is required
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Provide Respectful medication management services including evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses.
- Maintain case records and remember AMHC's focus on Excellence in order to provide quality service to the community
- Collaborate services as needed with other providers
- Provide Clinical case consultation with Integrity in order for AMHC staff to provide quality Service to the community
- Provide Compassionate psycho-education to individuals and their families to promote increased awareness.
