PureView Health Center has a career opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. This opportunity, located in Helena, Montana, is within the Behavioral Health department and reports to the Behavioral Health Director.

The Opportunity
Responsibilities of this career opportunity includes supporting and coordinating behavioral health care services; monitoring patients' medication usage and results; documenting patients' medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, or outcomes; evaluating and reporting patients' behavior, assessing patients' mental and physical status based on the presenting symptoms and complaints; educating patients and family members about mental health and medical conditions, preventive health measures, medications, or treatment plans; Writing prescriptions for psychotropic medications in scope of practice; Collaborating with medical director, primary care provider, and staff to develop, implement, or evaluate treatment plans; developing and implementing treatment plans; performing other duties as assigned.

This career opportunity requires:
- Graduate degree in psychiatric nursing and certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Must be a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner eligible to practice in the State of Montana.
- Two (2) years’ experience providing Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner services preferred.
