Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

ATC Psychiatry is a small, Seattle-based psychiatric practice currently looking for a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join the provider team and grow with the practice. As a provider at ATC Psychiatry, you will have the freedom to set your own schedule, work from home via telehealth, cultivate your own unique clinical specialty and preferred patient population, and receive highly competitive compensation.

ATC Psychiatry is a psych-NP owned practice that places an emphasis on a healthy relationship with work and an awareness of the challenges that face providers in telehealth environments. This translates to 90-minute intakes (if desired) and 30+ minute follow ups, a vacation schedule that is entirely in your control, flexibility in scheduling of anywhere between 2-5 days a week, office staff to manage all legal, credentialing, administrative, onboarding, marketing, billing, and non-clinical duties to allow you to focus solely on your patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric examinations of patients
• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and/or chronic psychiatric illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Perform prior authorizations for prescribed medications if necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

• New Graduates welcome
• WA state residency required (commutable distance to greater Seattle on an occasional basis will be necessary pending resumption of the Ryan Haight Act for controlled substances)
• Must hold active RN/APRN licenses in WA State, DEA certification in WA State, and ANCC board certification in psychiatric specialty
• Ideal candidates will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, confidence in working with EMR platforms, an ability to work with diverse clients, and motivation to be a proactive member of a dynamic team that is committed to holistic care, provider autonomy, and effective treatment.

• Compensation Package is based off 60-70% billed earnings revenue (DOE)
• This translates to $100,000 - $400,000 depending on clinical hours/week and experience.
