About This Role:
Come be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and make a difference in the lives of community residents. ACT provides community based services 7 days per week in the community with seriously mentally ill clients. The LPN in this role will be collaborating with the team and community resources to provide holistic, wrap around care to our clients. The ACT LPN will provide assistance with psychiatric medication management and follow up on medical care. We provide a flexible schedule, training leave, and free on-the-job training.
Preferences:
- Licensed professional nurse in the state of Virginia (License issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia and must be active and in good standing).
- 2 years of experience as an LPN in behavioral health setting
- Experience working with seriously mentally ill clients
- Experience working in community-based setting
- Must possess a valid driver's license. Must pass DMV record check
- Must pass TB test
- Must pass and maintain first aid and CPR certification
- Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint based National Criminal History Record Check. - Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.
Work Schedule: 37.50/week, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS ON A ROTATING BASIS
Starting Salary Range: $32.98 - $46.49 Hourly
