Premium Pay Shift Differential
Summary:
We aim to provide our patients with an elevated level of care, especially when dealing with a behavioral health condition. Our RN’s must possess an upbeat, kind, and nurturing attitude in order to be successful in the role. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Organizes and administers individualized, professional patient care
- Provides nursing care as directed by the medical staff in accordance with the multidisciplinary treatment plan objectives, policies and procedures of Retreat and the Nurse Practice Act
- Maintains standards of nursing care as established. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning
- Ability to function calmly in crisis situations
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff, patients, outside agencies, families, and the general public.
- Ability to curate a care plan with measurable goals and identify appropriate nursing interventions.
- Organization ability and excellent communication skills. Excellent writing skills as well as the ability to produce comprehensive documentation including measurable objectives.
- Must have excellent skills in verbal communication, good organization and time management skills, and familiarity and competency with personal computer applications

Qualifications
- 1+ year(s) experience as an Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current FL state RN licensure
- Knowledge of ASAM, DDAP, CARF, and Joint Commission standards
- Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examination, treatment modalities, and recovery
- Ability to check vitals, assess patients, and admit patient care
- Updated Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and CPR
- The candidate should be punctual and organized
- Clinical experience in the treatment of substance use disorder and/or mental health is preferred, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
