This position is onsite in Dallas at our Mockingbird location.
ABOUT THE JOB:
Summary:This position provides overall clinical and operational management of an ambulatory/outpatient practice or practices in collaboration with the Director and/or Sr. Director. Provides leadership for the patient care area(s) with specific operational and management oversight of the patient care area(s). Accountable for the performance and results of the patient care area(s). Oversees the execution of short- and long-term strategies in support of organizational goals pertinent to the practice/s. Establishes and ensures compliance with standards of care, as well as maintains accountability for staffing, quality, safety, service and clinical excellence throughout the practice/s. Maintains integral relationships with medical staff leadership. Accountable for the implementation and proper application of policies, programs and services as established by federal and state regulatory bodies. Researches, identifies and implements initiatives and opportunities to improve effectiveness of management and patient/family centered care within the practice/s. Provides guidance, coaching and feedback to team members. Makes employment decisions for the team. Monitors quality metrics and changes in practice that impact clinical, financial or operational outcomes and develops plans to address areas for improvement. Monitors and manages a budget for defined area(s) of responsibility. Provides technical guidance to others as needed for non-routine and / or complex problems / situations. May provide direct patient care occasionally if staffing levels and patient volumes require it.
WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 4 years Related experience required
* At least 1 year Management experience required
EDUCATION
* In Psychiatry, must have a bachelor's degree or higher in a health-related field
* Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience preferred
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
* Professional licensure in mental health required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist)
* Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.20 Life Support Course Requirements 60 Days
