Our client, a well-known healthcare organization, is seeking Provider Relations Advocate to join their team!! This is a fully remote opportunity requiring 40 hours per week from January to May!

Pay Rate: $20-24/hour

The Provider Relations Advocate is responsible for responding to incoming and outgoing calls, providing exemplary customer service, answering questions from the Provider’s offices relating to all projects; as well as completing requests for scheduling or rescheduling of charts required to satisfy customer needs, communicating with other departments, relaying any customer and physician concerns, and asks questions to supply the best quality customer service.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer inbound and place outbound telephone calls, take messages and re-direct calls when necessary.
  • Identify provider concerns, questions and/or complaints and report to PR Supervisor and other Management immediately with concerns.
  • Ensure all provider issues are documented in OPM and addressed to appropriate parties.
  • Rectify Provider office concerns to the limits of job skills and authority or escalate as needed.
  • Maintain the knowledge base concerning various health plans and their specific requirements.
  • Support all calling areas within the Scheduling departments to meet Operations service levels and goals.
  • Maintain 92% QA Average
  • Always ensure HIPAA compliance
  • Proficient in all Scheduling Processes
  • Other work-related duties may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma, Associate Degree a plus
  • At least two (2) years of work experience – customer service or call center
  • Proven history of effectively working in a position with high outbound call volume.
  • Excellent MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook- Email)
  • Ability to learn and work with internal proprietary applications.
  • Experience using Odis Project Manager (OPM) – CRM and inventory management platform and Itools – web-based chart management and editing tool a plus.
  • Ability to navigate through operating systems.
  • Demonstrated history of reliability and excellent attendance
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently and under the direction of others.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Able to take the initiative and use sound judgement when an action may be needed.
  • Excellent- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional Problem-Solving Skills
  • Must have discipline in Work from Home environment to perform, as in an office setting.
