Position Type: Hourly contract Position (W2 only)
Responsibilities will include:
- Researching and investigating member potential quality issues (complaints and grievances) within established timeliness standards.
- Will be working directly with Drs, ODs, etc.
- Will be using complaints tracking system, any system will work, just knowledge and resourcefulness on utilizing systems.
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years' experience in managed care or quality management, especially working with doctors.
- 2+ years customer service experience or service-oriented environment.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
General Summary
- Initiate activities to monitor, evaluate and maintain the quality of care and service provided to members by participating doctors.
- Coordinate Quality Assurance (QA) reviews and Potential Quality of Care investigations serving as the doctor's primary contact during the process.
- Participate in Quality Management/Improvement (QM/QI) activities.
