Summary
Performs all Provider enrollment process functions. Participates in the Provider enrollment workflow planning, implementing, and following-up on new acquisitions on the Provider/Practice enrollment applications while effectively communicating enrollment status to related departments. Works with the Epic analyst concerning Provider builds and Epic workflows relating to provider participating approval status and the release of claims to maximize revenue capture.
Job Duties
- Monitors new providers onboarding, existing provider/practice, and location movement to support the process of enrollment with insurance payers.
- Facilitates communication with providers, supporting departments, team members, and leadership to ensure all involved are aware of current Provider Par status, enrollment barriers, process changes, and resolution deadlines.
- Makes recommendations to leadership to improve enrollment process flows that will readily support timely Provider Enrollment/re- enrollment.
- Represents the enrollment department by participating in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams via meetings.
- Populates tracking spreadsheets to maintain the most current enrollment information.
- Reviews, identifies, corrects, and maintains Provider Enrollment electronic records as well as provider profiles with payers.
- Recognizes opportunities for the Epic system set-up adds, modifications, and deletes that will improve processes.
- Develops and maintains a collaborative relationship with all associated departments to facilitate timely Provider Enrollment.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years Experience working with complex provider credentialing/insurance enrollment processing.
- Effective, motivated communicator.
- Knowledge and understanding of the revenue cycle process and how the many components fit together.
- Welcomes challenging tasks - meets deadlines consistently.

- Associate's Degree
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs.frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
