This role reports to the Proposal Director and works on a regular basis with Principals, Signing Directors, Directors, Managers, Seniors, and Associates. May also work with Growth Network Marketing Coordinator and Growth Network Leaders.
How you’ll create opportunities in this Proposal Writer Role:
Proposals:
- Ensure compliance with the firm’s proposal planning and development processes.
- Manage the proposal response process from receipt of solicitations through the final product.
- Ensure the submission of proposals are compliant with RFP instructions and requirements.
- Maintains a solid understanding of the RFP requirements and compliance across assigned sections and/or volumes, including the outline, narrative, graphics, and call-out boxes.
- Monitor and facilitate lessons learned and client debriefing to tailor and improve the proposal process, as part of an overall team effort.
- Establish a Proposal Management Plan with associated schedule and contributor assignments.
- Suggests, develops, maintains, and improves proposal writing processes, procedures, templates, toolsets, and repositories.
- Ability to research and edit materials, tables, and matrices for proposals and presentations, as part of an overall team effort.
Reporting:
- Tracks and reports on wins/losses, follow-up, etc.
- Dynamics power user
Communications:
- Provide continuous feedback.
- Monitors and facilitates lessons learned and client debriefing to tailor and improve the proposal process.
- May become trained in the CLA brand, voice, and writing style to create content clearly and consistently for firm-wide use.
What you will need:
Experience
- 1 year of experience in a proposal writing role, preferably with an accounting/professional services firm.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe)
