At AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, formerly Shawnee Mission Medical Center, you're more than just a number on a chart. The role you'll contribute:
Maintains the hospital facilities.
The value you'll bring to the team:
Assist in operation and general maintenance of all plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and essential repairs related to the facility.
Respond to in-house Work Orders and PM's on a daily basis, and in a timely manner.
Responsible for on-call periods with quick response
Performs assigned corrective and preventive maintenance work on all equipment on a specific schedule.
Will serve in rotational call schedule to assure that shop needs are met.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
High School or general education degree (GED)
Valid Driver's License
Proof of auto insurance on file.
Must have the ability to use all tools associated with performing the duties associated with routine maintenance procedures, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, alarm systems, locksmith, and other mechanical systems of the hospital, such as OHM meters, welders, hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, leak detectors, welding machines, power tools, ladders, grinders, key cutting machines, HVAC hoods and vacuum machines, and other tools, equipment and materials as required to perform the job.
