Property Maintenance Handyman

You’ll run routine inspections and maintenance and create preventative measures to keep our equipment running smoothly as long as possible and minimize any risk. $18 - $25 hourly

• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs
• Manage other maintenance requests as required
• Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, walls, and make any repairs as needed

• Punch-list items at renovation sites
• Making trips to hardware stores (Home Depot, Lowes, etc)
• Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in residential properties, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general handyman duties
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in residential structures and systems
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and address them promptly
• Install, repair, and maintain household fixtures, appliances, and equipment
• Respond to client service requests promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional customer service
• Keep records of work performed and materials used for each job
• Assist in the procurement of necessary materials and supplies for projects
• Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices while performing tasks
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Be on call to respond to emergency maintenance requests

• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail

• 2 years of maintenance experience preferred
• Our ideal candidate has several years of experience in Property Maintenance, along with reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to respond to emergencies as they arise
• Able to perform a variety of maintenance duties with skill
• Adapt to handling preventive maintenance, basic repairs, cosmetic upkeep, and simple appliance installation
• Proficiency in multiple areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic knowledge and ability to power tools and equipment used in maintenance and repairs
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Physical strength and stamina to handle demanding tasks
• Certifications in relevant trades are a plus
• Maintenance: at least 1 year of experience (Required)
• Must live in Lee County (Required)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (Required)
