Compensation:$18 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
- Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs
- Manage other maintenance requests as required
- Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, walls, and make any repairs as needed
- Punch-list items at renovation sites
- Making trips to hardware stores (Home Depot, Lowes, etc)
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in residential properties, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general handyman duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in residential structures and systems
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and address them promptly
- Install, repair, and maintain household fixtures, appliances, and equipment
- Respond to client service requests promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional customer service
- Keep records of work performed and materials used for each job
- Assist in the procurement of necessary materials and supplies for projects
- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices while performing tasks
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Be on call to respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- 2 years of maintenance experience preferred
- Our ideal candidate has several years of experience in Property Maintenance, along with reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to respond to emergencies as they arise
- Able to perform a variety of maintenance duties with skill
- Adapt to handling preventive maintenance, basic repairs, cosmetic upkeep, and simple appliance installation
- Proficiency in multiple areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic knowledge and ability to power tools and equipment used in maintenance and repairs
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Physical strength and stamina to handle demanding tasks
- Certifications in relevant trades are a plus
- Maintenance: at least 1 year of experience (Required)
- Must live in Lee County (Required)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (Required)
