Job Description
Agent must have experience quoting and selling the following products:
- Personal auto, commercial auto, workers' compensation, statutory disability general liability, etc.
Qualification:
- Candidates for this position should have a minimum of one year of experience in Property and Casualty Insurance sales.
- The candidate must hold a valid license to sell insurance in the state of New York; we can assist with transferring licenses from other states.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish- a Must!)
- Bilingual- Fluent in English and Spanish - a Must.
- Excellent records and file management skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Gmail and Adobe Professional.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and courtesy.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Normal office environment or working conditions.
Major Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Acts as a liaison between insured(s) and insurance companies as applicable.
- Provides insured(s), with timely and periodic status updates of their insurance application/policy.
- Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and/or other documents for recurring internal reports.
- Compiles documents files and enters information into the office data management system.
- Assure that all insured's files are complete and in compliance with regulatory agencies and internal policies.
- Process the documents received for each file.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of each document.
- Other duties as assigned.
