Job Purpose:

The Proofreader at Vivid Impact is essential in bridging the gap between our creative design team and our customers, ensuring the highest quality of communication and content alignment. The primary aim of this role is to guarantee the precision of spelling, adherence to stylistic nuances, and compliance with customer brand standards. The Proofreader will engage in meticulous proofreading and editing processes to maintain content integrity. This position calls for diligent quality control, proactive collaborative feedback, and efficient management of project traffic to uphold the company's reputation for delivering exceptional creative solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Proofreading and Editing: Carefully review and edit creative content to ensure it meets client specifications and industry standards. Focus on high-quality outputs that reflect the company's commitment to excellence.
• Detail-Oriented Quality Control: Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in grammar, punctuation, and formatting. Maintain brand consistency across all materials, ensuring that each piece aligns with the client's style guide and expectations.
• Comprehensive Content Review: Conduct thorough examinations of creative proofs to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies, paying close attention to both minute details and overall content coherence.
• Style and Syntax Mastery: Utilize in-depth knowledge of language rules and style guides to rectify grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and syntax errors. Enhance the quality and clarity of content through expert editing and proofreading practices.
• Collaborative Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to design teams, ensuring that all creative outputs resonate with the brand message and meet client standards. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages high-quality, creative solutions.
• Project Traffic Management: Efficiently manage the flow of projects through various approval systems, facilitating clear and effective communication between clients, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in proofreading, copy writing, or a related field, preferably in a design agency environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proficiency in English grammar and style.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with creative layout and design principles.
• Proactive problem-solving and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a basic understanding of Abode Creative Suite.
• Ability to question content to improve accuracy and clarity.
• Copy writing experience or project management skills are highly preferred.
