The Promotions Team is responsible for the reviewing, entering, auditing, and testing promotional offers. The team owns Coupon Central and works to identify valid and fraudulent coupon and discounting activities. The team serves as a liaison between the Phoenix Home Office and stores ensuring that promotions operate as intended, pricing activities are optimized, and all pricing is effectively communicated to our pet parents through various price labels and signage. The team works cross functionally with multiple teams within Store Operations, Merchandising and Marketing to ensure all processes that impact pricing in our stores are streamlined and work efficiently. The team supports merchant and marketing functions to enable process-driven decisions and execute corporate strategies leading to greater company profitability throughout stores in the US, PR and CA.
About the Location

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Retailing or Business and a minimum of two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of experience in retail or business preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Expert understanding of offer interactions within the Advanced Marketing System (AMS)
• Ability to synthesize multiple data sets into a coherent story
• Ability to remain organized with a strong attention to detail and deliver to critical deadlines
• Analytical, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Self-directed independent thinker
• Experience with retail applications (SAP Preferred)
• Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in Excel, and related Microsoft applications

Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: None
Preferred Requirements: Two years retail experience in retail or business preferred. Knowledge of corporate promotional pricing processes.
