Project Technician Roles and Responsibilities Summary
The following are the primary Roles and Responsibilities of a PuroClean® Project Technician.
1. Executive: Customer Satisfaction
a. Notify project leader/immediate supervisor of customer needs and concerns.
2. Production: Production Processes and Jobsite Support
a. Adhere to PuroClean® 1-4-8 job response.
b. Perform production processes following PuroClean® production guidelines per work order and per project leader/immediate supervisor directions.
c. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
d. Follow PuroClean® uniform policy.
e. Develop production expertise: services, cleaning products, and equipment.
3. Human Resources: Communication
a. Ensure clear two-way communication with project leader/immediate supervisor and other technicians.
4. Production: Maintenance and Equipment Repair
a. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
b. Clean and maintain facilities.
5. Executive: Safety and Risk Management
a. Attend safety training.
b. Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the jobsite, in the office, and while traveling.
6. Additional: Other Duties, as Assigned
a. Take ownership of Roles and Responsibilities.
b. Handle recurring and unique tasks, as necessary.
Primary Role: Respond to service calls as needed. Perform services as assigned while following PuroClean®production guidelines. Communicate with project leader/immediate supervisor to make sure all customer needs are met. Support project leader/immediate supervisor and other production personnel, as needed. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas, as needed.
Results Expected: Production processes are performed according to guidelines and work orders. Communications to project leader/immediate supervisor and customers are timely. Jobs are completed at or beyond customer expectations. Vehicles, equipment, and facilities remain clean, orderly, and working properly.
1. Executive: Manage Customer Satisfaction
a. Notify project leader/immediate supervisor of customer needs and concerns.
Communicate with project leader/immediate supervisor regarding customer needs and successfully meet those needs.
Report any complaints about the performance of services.
2. Production: Production Processes and Jobsite Support
a. Adhere to 1-4-8 job response.
Provide personnel availability for response to emergency services as required by PuroClean® response commitment.
b. Perform production processes following PuroClean® production guidelines per work order and per project leader/immediate supervisor directions.
Inventory and load the vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for jobs.
Set up staging area and equipment for each job. Prepare rooms for cleaning processes.
Assist the project leader/immediate supervisor and other production personnel.
Perform end-of-job/end-of-day cleanup and breakdown.
c. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance. Show respect for customer's home/property.
d. Follow PuroClean® uniform policy.
e. Develop production expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment. Participate in training activities on a regular basis.
Seek certification through relevant Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) certifications.
Enroll in all relevant training programs and achieve all relevant production certifications. Read equipment and product directions and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to learn correct usage and application.
Learn how to properly operate equipment by reading owner's manuals and from training
with other team members.
Compensation: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
