Job Overview:
RCO Engineering, Inc has an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Technician to be responsible for the general maintenance and performance of the company equipment and machinery in our Plastics Manufacturing Plant. As a Maintenance Technician you will become part of a collaborative team and learn all aspects of the job to help develop your career.
Qualifications/Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of Industrial Machine repair, MIG welding, metal fabrication, plumbing, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Strong attention to detail and have good problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of tools and designs needed to repair machinery.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control, costs in order to maximize the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods.
- Have good math skills.
- Experience in Plastics Manufacturing preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in repairing plastics injection molding equipment.
Tasks Needed to Perform::
- Repair machines, equipment and building structures according to maintenance work orders using the tools required.
- Use power lockout procedure as specified.
- Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and respond to Press and Molding Machinery of production line equipment.
- Support fabrication projects
- Support compliance with RCO Quality Policies
- Support RCO continuous improvement initiative.
- Any other duties as assigned
