As part of the Program Planning and Control (PP&C) organization, the selected candidate will be responsible for the implementation of standard processes, tools and program planning and control. We are seeking a full time Scheduler to work on RI HIX/BRE. The candidate will be expected to perform the following under minimal guidance and direction of the RI HIX/BRE Program Manager:
Developing schedule networks in a DoD EVMS environment
Responsible for development, administration and control of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Microsoft Project
Monitor and report the critical path and track overall schedule performance
Assist in preparation of weekly and monthly schedule reviews including summary overview, critical path, and variance reports
Demonstrated scheduling skills including network development, forward and backward pass analysis, total float analysis, critical path analysis and vertical/horizontal integration
Interface with team leads for developing logic, durations, constraints, updating progress and forecast remaining work
Work with Program Control Analysts to coordinate resource planning in cost and schedule tools
Proactive working with peers, managers and customers to achieve goals.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office suite of applications
Assist Program Control Analyst with monthly EVMS & CPR preparation
The selected candidate will manage the project schedule, which includes all input and updates and statistical reporting for the master project schedule. This position acts as a liaison between the project leads and the PMO, Project Manager,and Deputy Project Manager in regards to project progress reporting. This individual should possess strong project planning and scheduling capabilities and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player.
