Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of the Valley Foundation School of Nursing and working collaboratively with the Curriculum Coordinator, Undergraduate Coordinator and Clinical Scheduler, the Project Manager/Clinical Placement Coordinator works independently under minimal supervision to support scheduling, registration, the Nursing (BSN) undergraduate application process, and clinical requirements for students and faculty.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling all program courses and opening canvas shells for courses during the Academic Year
- Prepares First version of tracks as planning tool for Director/curriculum coordinator
- Maintains reviews, and revises student and master tracks throughout the academic year
- Runs scheduler extract, troubleshoots people soft errors with Acad Sched
- Prepares Acad Sched forms
- Enters and revised faculty assigned to sections in PeopleSoft as needed
- Clinical placement onboarding for students in all programs
- Participate in room swap and reserve all classrooms for events and courses during the Academic Year
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Comprehensive and detailed knowledge of the university infrastructure, policies, and procedures
- Thorough mastery of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Project management skills
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures independently, and use judgment and discretion to act when precedents do not exist
- Ability to troubleshoot most office administration problems and respond to all inquiries and requests related to the work area
- Working knowledge of academic scheduling policies and procedures
- Ability to research issues related to schedule conflicts
- Strong knowledge of forms and document development (PowerPoint, Google Docs, Calendaring, databases, spreadsheets and graphic programs, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive communications, interpersonal, and confidential situations
- Working knowledge of registration processes and deadlines
- Ability to analyze operational and procedural problems and develop, recommend, and evaluate proposed solutions
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents
- Three years of related office work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree
- One (1) - Two (2) years project management / office administration

Classification: Administrative Support Coordinator II
Anticipated Hiring Range: $4,500/month - $4,853/month
CSU Salary Range: $3,681/month - $6,034/month
