This client is looking for a Senior Project Manager with a background in the financial industry, specifically in roles such as broker, dealer, or asset manager.
It is important that the ideal candidate is skilled in managing stakeholders and can communicate effectively with both executives and team members.
The Sr. Project Manager will be expected to deliver conceptual decks or process improvements that satisfy the clients, which requires them to be a thought leader, coordinator, and communicator all at once. The PM will also be responsible for creating deck scheduling meetings, doing analysis, and making conceptual leaps to get the team behind them.
As there are no Business Analysts under the Sr. Project Manager in the RP org, this person would also be performing a BA role as well, meaning they would be responsible for delivering decks and process improvements. The PM should have a solid understanding of agile concepts and the SDLC, but they do not need to be highly technical as there are already six tech PMs working on the projects. The Sr. Project Manager will be working on three marquee-sized projects related to the enterprise exchange operation, including a multi-year project operating model within multi-asset.
Overall, the ideal candidate for this position should have high-level technology experience, be comfortable with business and consulting, and have excellent communication skills.
