Responsibilities:
Synergy Associates is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to manage and deliver IT projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing project plans, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects while working with the project engineering, procurement teams and managers to align resourcing and procurement. The successful candidate will:
- Manage and deliver complex IT projects, from initiation through to closure (including post-mortem analysis), adhering to best practices in project management methodologies;
- Develop and maintain project plans through collaboration with solutions architecture and client advocate to define project objectives, scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while ensuring technical feasibility;
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop appropriate contingency plans to ensure successful project delivery;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients during the project, ensuring their satisfaction with project outcomes, while also identifying opportunities for additional work;
- Adhere to project management methodologies, processes, and tools consistent with PMP and CAPM standards;
- Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management, including project KPIs such as progress, budget, risks, issues and change control.
Experience and Education:
- 3+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects;
- Excellent project management skills, with a thorough understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools consistent with PMP and CAPM;
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate project teams, including internal and external resources;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Familiarity with project and program management frameworks including PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, CAPM, Six Sigma etc.).
Location and Working Hours:
Your primary work location with be your home. Onsite visits to client sites domestically and internationally may be required occasionally. Candidates located throughout the US are welcome to apply, but primary working hours will be 9am-6pm ET. Work outside these normal hours will be required from time to time.
