We are looking for a collaborative Project Manager to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland as part of our Advanced Mobility (AM) group of about 50 transportation planners, traffic / ITS engineers and operations specialists with a wide variety of talent and experience.
When you join us, you'll take a leading role in the development of traffic engineering design, transportation planning studies and traffic operations analysis.
As a Project Manager, we'll look to you to develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages as well as managing on-call contracts and sub-consultants. You'll prepare scope, schedule, and budgets for projects and task orders and identify creative and innovative solutions based on client, project, and site constraints.
You will utilize your expertise by providing technical guidance, oversight, and perform quality reviews as well as train, direct, and mentor junior staff on the team.
Additional responsibilities in this role will include:
Coordinating project milestones and workload with other Project Managers and group leads throughout the East-Central Region
Assisting in project pursuits to win work, coordinating with client account management leads
Assisting in business development and proposal efforts
Maintaining and/or develop relationships with new and existing clients to determine their needs and manage expectations

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Traffic Operations Engineer Certification (PTOE)
Professional Engineering (PE) License
Minimum of 5 years' of experience with traffic engineering, operations, analysis and design
Previous project or task management experience supporting transportation projects and clients in the state of Maryland
Experience in interpreting and using the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and Highway Capacity Manual (HCM)
Valid driver's license and able to travel locally for site visits
Must be resourceful, curious, and self-directed.

Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Design experience with departments of transportation, planning, transit, and/or municipal agencies
