The Project Manager Supervisor will support business growth by supervising the Commercial Project Management team. They will be managing workflow from start to finish while achieving maximum customer satisfaction in both quality and timeliness. Our team members are knowledgeable and energetic with a passion for quality, service and meeting our customer needs.
Essential Responsibilities of the Project Manager Supervisor include the following:
  • Maintain consistent clear communication with external and internal customers, including daily communication with Commercial Project Management team members.
  • Train Project Managers on all the following but not limited too:
    • Reviewing blueprints and creating CAD drawings
    • Ordering product and incorporating lead times for schedule
    • Installation work orders and planning for jobs
    • Communication with customers (internal and external)
    • Operational procedures
    • Equipment, material, and software used.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for Project Managers with guidance from Department Manager.
  • Daily verification of time cards.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of available schedule. Lead Project Managers through scheduling challenges and delays.
  • Monitor employee work levels and review work performance for quality, accuracy & efficiency.
  • Serve as main point of contact for questions.
  • Maintain knowledge of basic construction codes and best practices.
  • Review jobs for proper product selection and make recommendations to customers on products that may perform better.
  • Maintain oversight of Project Management team as they execute the efficient and profitable management of commercial construction projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree, a plus
  • 4-5 years project management experience.
  • Proficiency using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Thorough understanding of project specifications and architectural plans.
  • Previous commercial installation or fabrication experience a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and self-motivate.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to work well in teams.
Work Environment
The employee will work in an office/shop/warehouse environment, or be present on Commercial construction job sites.
