As an ‘Project Manager’ – join S2 Analytical Solutions and supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in its growing need for systems engineering and technical assistance (SETA).

Job Overview: As a Project Manager (SETA) at S2, you will play a critical role in providing senior-level advice and guidance to enable the government to plan, manage, and execute programs and projects effectively. You will advise program leaders on potential technology insertions to enhance program performance and efficiency, review and assess program requirements for accuracy and compliance, and provide acquisition support to engineering review boards. Your expertise will be instrumental in evaluating architectural direction, providing system security advice, and ensuring the completeness of test plans.

Duties:

• Advise program leaders on potential technology insertions to improve program performance and identify long-term issues.
• Review and evaluate program requirements, documents, plans, and other related artifacts for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Provide acquisition support to engineering review boards, including Request for Change (RFC) preparation and technical review.
• Evaluate recommendations relating to architectural direction and guidance, and assist the program office in the evaluation of viable, sustainable architectures.
• Coordinate the integration of new and/or modified data types
• Provide system security advice and review documents in support of assessment and authorization (A&A) requirements.
• Assist in the production of documentation to support new acquisitions or major updates.
• Review and evaluate test plans and provide feedback to government and development to Government and development contractors.
• Participate in major program milestones and identify issues to ensure programmatic considerations are included.
• Assist the Program Manager in navigating NGA processes and providing infrastructure modernization guidance.
• Provide independent witnessing of contractor testing at development contractor facilities and at operational sites or test facilities in support of Government personnel
• Navigate NGA processes and provide infrastructure modernization guidance to the Program Manager.

Required:

• Demonstrated understanding of geospatial intelligence mission contributions to IC or DoD.
• 12 years of total experience supporting the DoD and the IC, with 8 years of specialized experience in preparing acquisition strategy documentation.
• Familiarity with Cloud-based computing architectures and file-based data formats/standards.
• Demonstrated experience in program management or engineering support and guidance.
